St. Vlas
St. Vlas is a beautiful coastal village of approx. 3000 inhabitants, located 40 km from Bourgas city and 38 km from Bourgas airport. It is situated in the skirts of the Stara Planina, where mountains meet the sea. This makes it a preferred destination for holidaymakers, who want to enjoy the spectacular views of the mountain while having fun on the beach.
There are three beaches in St. Vlas with a length totaling 1.5 kilometers – the central beach is the largest of the three, south of it is the small “Camping” beach and the third is near the new yacht port Marina.
There are plenty of bars and shops, but if you like things a little more lively, then Sunny Beach is just 4 km away.
Sunny Beach
Sunny Beach is the largest and most popular summer resort in the Bourgas region. It has a long, wide sandy beach and offers all types of water sports. There is entertainment and music for all age groups. If you are feeling sore from all of the physical activities, why not while away a few hours at one of the mineral water spa centres.
Nessebar
Nessebar is one of the oldest towns in Europe, having existed for 9,000 years. The beautiful old town is located on a small peninsular linked to New Nessebar by a long narrow isthmus.
The old town has a very romantic atmosphere, with narrow cobblestone lanes, little squares and wooden upper floors jutting out over the streets. There are many gift shops, bars and wonderful restaurants.
